Abu Arraj: Spread of "HTS" in occupied NES meets interests of regional and international powers

After the control of the mercenaries of Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra), it expanded in other occupied areas, reaching the outskirts of the cities of "Azaz and al-Bab", and concentrated in points in the contact areas separating the city of Manbij and the occupied Jarabulus as well.

 A few days ago, the mercenaries of "Ahrar al-Sham" affiliated with "Hayat Tahrir al-Sham" (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra)" spread instead of the "Jabhat Al-Sham" spread in the north and west of the city of Manbij.

Civil sources from inside the city of Jarablus and its eastern countryside told our agency that the mercenaries of Sultan Murad and the mercenaries of Samar Qand, deployed in the western countryside of Manbij, are preparing to hand over their points to the "Ahrar al-Sham" mercenaries of "Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham", in the next few days, this information confirmed by sources in the Manbij Military Council.

In response to this, the Assistant Secretary-General of the Future Syria Party, Ahmed Al-Sultan Abu Araj, said in an interview with our agency, "What happened in the occupied territories in the recently is the result of agreements concluded by the parties to the Sochi, Astana and Geneva meetings." 

Beforehand coordination

 He added, "Within 24 hours, Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham was in control of all the joints of the city of Afrin and its countryside. When the columns entered the areas of Afrin, some of them entered through the main crossings and others illegal.  However, there is prior coordination between Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham and the factions and mercenaries present in those areas.”

 He considered handing over these areas to “Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (formerly Al-Nusra Front) as a service to the interests of Russia, the Damascus government, Turkey and the United States of America in the region, a usurpation of Syrian lands, and an effort to unify the ranks of the mercenaries and harness them to achieve their interests.”

 Regarding the timing of the movement of the mercenaries of "Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham" at this time, Abu Arraj said, "This matter is related to several things, including the rapprochement between Ankara and Damascus, as well as the result of pressures from Russia and Damascus, and others related to the Turkish interior represented by the approaching date of the Turkish elections, where Turkey wants to shine its image in front of Turkish citizens came out of the quagmire in which it fell."

On the consequences of this scheme on the Syrian people and the future of the country, the Assistant Secretary-General of the Future Syria Party, Ahmed Sultan Abu Arraj, pointed out that the Syrians, as usual, are victims of regional and international agreements, and those who pay the bill for strategies and agreements between external parties involved in the Syrian crisis.

He said: "As the previous agreements concluded with the Turkish side, the Syrians are the victims, and will not be used only by obstacles at the expense of the Syrian people."
