Outcome of 48 hours of Turkish attacks on S. Kurdistan

HPG's Media Center issued a statement regarding the operations of Guerrilla and the Turkish occupation attacks.

The statement read,“The Turkish state and its fascist army launch systematical attacks  on the villages of Southern Kurdistan, and the villages of Darkel, Miska and Baz in Metina, and the villages of Serkel, Balaf, Kohrs, Berjia, Maj and Spindar. The Turkish state, which recently burned thousands of villages in Northern Kurdistan seeks to displace the villages in Southern Kurdistan.

“In the area of ​​Martyr Dalil, west of Zap:

On July 5, at 07:20, fighters from the Free Women’s Units - Star seized a Turkish drone after targeting it with individual weapons in  Judi Hill.

On July 5, at 19:05, Free Women’s Units fighters targeted the Turkish occupation army in Judi Hill with heavy weapons.

On July 5, at 11:15, our forces targeted the Turkish occupation army in Amadiye Hill with semi-automatic weapons.

On July 6, at 06:17, our forces targeted the Turkish occupation army in Amadiye Hill and dealt a strong blow to its position.

On July 5, at 21:00 and 22:00, our forces targeted a Turkish helicopter that was trying to place soldiers on Bahar Hill, which led to the helicopter’s withdrawal from the area.

On July 6, at 11:40, our forces targeted the Turkish occupation army in Bahar Hill with heavy weapons, which led to stopping the enemy’s movements.

On July 6, at 07:00, our forces targeted the enemy army in Bahar Hill with heavy weapons.

On July 7, at 06:15, our forces targeted the occupation soldiers in Serkel with heavy weapons.

Turkish occupation army attacks with banned explosives:

On July 5 and 6, the war tunnels in the FM Hill Resistance Square were bombed 19 times with chemical gases and twice with banned explosives.

Turkish occupation army attacks:

On July 5 and 6, Turkish warplanes bombed Bahar Hill in the Martyr Dalil area west of Zap twice, Kulet Square in the Khakurk region once, and the Zinkel and Zivik Hill squares in the Gari region twice.

On July 6, the Khakurk area was bombed by Turkish attack helicopters.
