"We express our concern about reports of violations of the arms embargo, and we emphasize the need for external actors to stop supplying the conflict," Nebenzia said in his speech in front of the Security Council.

"The illegal spreading of weapons in Libya is destabilizing the security situation in the country and in Al Sahel (Coast) region ," Nebenzia said.

Last Wednesday, French President, Emmanuel Macron, accused Turkey of violating the undertakings it made at Berlin conference on January 19 to resolve the Libyan crisis, noting that France had observed in the past few days ships transporting Syrian mercenaries to Libya.
