The Saudi Civil Aviation Authority said today that three people were killed and 36 others injured after facilities at Abha and King Khalid international airports were targeted.

The authority said the attack on Abha Airport killed two female residents and injured 28 people, while the attack on King Khalid Airport killed a Sudanese resident and injured eight others, including five Saudi citizens.

It added that the injuries ranged from minor to serious, noting that the two attacks took place on Tuesday and Wednesday. The relevant authorities are continuing to assess the damage and take the necessary measures to ensure the safety of passengers and airport workers.

Meanwhile, Major General Turki Al-Malki, spokesperson for the coalition forces in Yemen, said that a ballistic missile launch platform in Sanaa had been destroyed. He said the platform was being used to prepare for an imminent attack against Saudi Arabia.
