Anwar Muslim: The International Coalition must clarify position on Turkish attacks

The Co-chair of the Executive Council of Autonomous Administration of Kobani canton Anwar Muslim said that the Syrian Democratic forces are seeking to eliminate the last pocket of Daesh, which threatens the whole world, stressing that the Turkish attacks are revenging for the military operation carried out by the Syrian Democratic forces with the support of the International Coalition to eliminate Daesh.

His speech came during a speech at the funeral of two martyrs of the self-defense forces in the shrine of the martyr Dijla in the city of Kobani, as thousands of Syrians gathered this afternoon.

Muslim stressed that it is necessary that the countries part of the International Coalition-which is fighting alongside the Syrian Democratic forces to eliminate Daesh near Deir ez-Zor-make their position clear on the attacks of the Turkish army, which targeted two days ago the western villages of Kobani canton.

Anwar Muslim confirmed that the Turkish attacks on populated villages came after the meeting in Istanbul between the heads of state of France, Germany, Russia and Turkey, which shows the positions of those countries that have not condemned such attacks so far.

On the 28th of this month, the Turkish occupation army shelled a number of villages north-west of Kobani canton, using tanks and artillery. One self-defense fighter was martyred and the People's Protection Units responded to the sources of fire.
