Britain revealed names of 2 Russians suspected to kill Skripal, his daughter

The British prosecutors said that the Russians were Alexander Petrov and Ruslan Boshirov about whom the police mentioned that they arrived at London's Gatwick Airport from Moscow in March 2 on a plane related to the Russian airliner (Aeroflot), and left the country in March 4. The police posted photos of the two men.

The British police chief Neil Basu said that the two suspected traveled under false pretenses and were about 40 years old and carrying Russian passports.

Basu added, "We would like anyone who knows them to communicate with us," Basu said that the Russian Foreign Ministry said that Britain's declaration of the two men's names meant nothing to Moscow.

Russia's envoy to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) said on Wednesday that Moscow had no connection with the poisoning of Skripal.

Basu said surveillance cameras showed the Novichok gas spray in front of the door of Skripal's house in Salisbury. Basu said the traces of Novichok gas were found in a hotel room in London where the men were staying in.

Prosecutors said that a European arrest warrant was issued against the Russians.

The Russians are accused of conspiring to kill Sergey Skripal, his daughter and the policeman Nick Bailey who got sick after he responded to the report finding Skripal and his daughter.

The Russians are also accused of using and possessing Novichok gas in violation of the chemical weapons law.
