Youths commemorated July 14 martyrs

On Saturday, hundreds of youths from various areas in the Euphrates region flocked towards Kobanî city to participate in the march organized by Rojava Youth Union. The participants held the pictures of the Kurdish people leader Abdullah Ocalan.

The march launched from the east of the city and crossed the Marty Sariya Ozgur Street (48 Street) till it reached the Free Women Square after the participants marched 3 km.

The youths chanted slogans demanding the leader Abdullah Ocalan’s freedom, pledging to liberate Afrin canton from the Turkish occupation in the near future, and following the martyrs’ footsteps.

As the march reached the Free Women Square in Botan Gharbi (West) neighborhood, the member of the Youth Coordination in North Syria Mazloum Mesto read a statement which included,

“Today, the four parts of Kurdistan are occupied by the Turkish occupation, and in spite of this, resistance is existed in all the areas. The Kurdish people resist against the massacres and polices that seek to eliminate them, and this is in exchange for the blood sacrificed for the sake of that, knowing that the people fought in the fiercest battles to prove themselves and defend their honor, land.

The Turkish government is still trying to impose its domination on the Kurdish people, and the Kurdish people are still resisting and following the path drawn by Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK).

The martyrs in Diyar Bakir as Mazloum Dogan, Kheiri, Kamal, Akef and Ali Chichek who did not accept humiliation and treachery would not be forgotten.

Long live the leader Abdullah Ocalan…

No life without the leader…

It is worth mentioning that Saturday is the anniversary of Amed prison resistance that was launched by a number of the strugglers of Kurdistan Freedom Movement on July 14, 1982 when they launched a hunger strike and did not back down.

This resistance which was launched against oppression and the policies of killing and torturing against the staff of Freedom Movement and the Kurdish people in general has become a launch to start another stage of struggling and resisting in the four parts of Kurdistan.
