Youth of Aleppo write letters to Leader Abdullah Ocalan

Today, the youth of the al-Sheikh Maqsoud and al-Ashrafieh neighborhoods in Aleppo started, as part of an initiative launched by the Democratic Union Party, writing letters to be sent to Leader Abdullah Ocalan, within the campaign titled "I Want to Visit Abdullah Ocalan."

Members of the general council of al-Ashrafieh and al-Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhoods, as well as institutions and political parties, are going to write letters in this regard.

Sidra Khalil, a member of the Young Women's Union and one of the organizers of the letter-writing group, said that through this activity they are opening the space for youth to freely express their opinions and write everything on their minds to send to Leader Abdullah Ocalan.

Sidra Khalil also noted that hundreds of young people who heard about the letter-writing initiative have contacted the organizers to participate, aiming to highlight more the issue of achieving physical freedom for Leader Abdullah Ocalan.

A committee will be formed to collect these letters and send them to the relevant authorities to deliver them to Leader Abdullah Ocalan in Imrali prison.
