Velayati: Without Iran, Syrian regime would fall in 2 weeks

Velayati explained that the Syrian regime would have "fallen within weeks" without the help of Iran. He also said, "If Iran had not existed, Syria and Iraq would have been under the control of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi."

Velayati claimed that those who say that Russia wants Iran out of Syria are "they want to strike the unity between Moscow and Tehran," noting that if Iran and Russia left Syria , terrorism will return to control.
