Mideast youths' conference to consolidate youth's role in society

Youth organizations and movements in a number of countries in the Middle East are preparing to hold the second Conference of the Middle East Youth in Rojava's regions, based on the decisions of the first conference held in Amed city in Bakur Kurdistan.

Conference is held on the basis of the decisions of 1st conference

According to Mustafa, the preparation for the conference began since the conclusion of the first conference, which was held in March 2015 in Amed city in Bakur Kurdistan. "The first conference was held in 2015 in Amed city in Bakur Kurdistan, one of the decisions of the conference was to hold the second conference in Rojava because Roj became an important arena for the struggle of peoples for democracy, and the conference formed a coordinating structure to follow up the decisions of the first conference and implement its decisions. Representatives of Syria and Rojava as well as many democratic and leftist youth movements from Iraq, Turkey, Kurdistan, and Cyprus. "

'Preparatory Committee continues its meetings with various youth organizations'

Mustafa confirmed that the preparations are underway in full swing for the second conference in a few months "Preparation for the second conference in Rojava are underway.” He went on saying “ In this framework, an expanded meeting was held in May this year in the city of Sulaymaniyah in Başûr Kurdistan stressing the need to hold the second which is currently being prepared for in Rojava. “A preparatory committee has been formed, which is currently working with all youth movements and political parties Kurdish, Arab, Syriac, Armenian and others, a press conference is scheduled to be held soon to disclose the results of its activities and their preparations." Said Mustafa.

Spreading the democratic nation's approach throughout the Middle East

"The second goal is to spread the approach of the revolution of the democratic peoples of the Middle East, and the democratic nation's approach is not confined to Rojava but we seek to spread this approach throughout the Middle East," Akef Mustafa said.  “Because the democratic nation's approach is the best solution for all Middle East crises."

The member of the Preparatory Committee for the second conference of the youth of the Middle East appealed at the end of his statements to all the democratic, revolutionary, leftist and communist organizations and movements of youth to participate in this conference, "We are working together to end the crises of the Middle East to build a democratic Middle East and build a political and moral society."

The first conference of young people in the Middle East was held on March 13, 2015 in the city of Amed in Bakur Kurdistan. The conference’s decisions included the the formation of a follow-up coordination to second conference in Rojava. The meeting was held in the Lebanese capital Beirut on 20-21 November 2016. As part of preparations for the conference, a meeting was held in Sulaymaniyah city on 25 May 2015.
