Manbij, Raqqa Young women: Turkey's goal of attacks on Avashin is underestimating Kurds' struggle
Young women in the cities of Manbij and Raqqa indicated in two separate statements today that "the Turkish attacks on legitimate defense zones aim at striking the struggle of the Kurdish people."
To condemn the Turkish occupation’s attack on Zab, Avashin and Matina areas, the Young Women’s Union in Manbij and Raqqa issued two separate statements to public opinion.
MANBIJ
Dozens of young women gathered in Al-Sudasi Stadium in the city of Manbij to make a statement, which was read by the Administrator Sedana Hanoush.
In it, she said: "In the name of the Young Women’s Union in Manbij and its countryside, we condemn the attacks on north eastern Syria by the Turkish state and its mercenaries who aspire to destabilize the security and stability of the region. We have also witnessed the attacks on legitimate defense zones to strike a blow to our struggle and break the free will."
Sedana also condemned the Iraqi court’s decision to execute four Yazidi youths, saying that it was "a political decision and has nothing to do with justice," and demanded that the decision be reversed.
At the end of the statement, Sedana said, "As young women, we affirm that we stand by our struggling forces in the mountains to prevent destabilizing the security of the region."

In a related context, the Young Women's Union in Raqqa issued a statement in the presence of dozens of young women, which was delivered at their headquarter in the city center.
The statement was read by the Member Maya Al-Hamad, and she said:
"In the name of the young women in Raqqa and its countryside, we condemn and denounce the barbaric attacks on the legitimate defense zones "Avashin and Matina". The policy that Erdogan pursues is an oppressive policy practiced against all components and the Kurdish people in particular."ط
The statement continued: "What we see today of attacks is evidence of the end of Erdogan's term of presidency in Turkey, as he has recently failed in many campaigns, such as what he did in Ain Issa and Gara Mounts."
In its conclusion, the statement indicated: "Today we have tasted freedom, and we will no longer accept humiliation, submissiveness and surrender, and we will continue on the path of martyrs until victory is achieved, a free life for our people is guaranteed and every inch of our occupied lands is liberated, and we say to fascism and agents that their punishment will be double."
