PYD youth's 1st conference kicks off in Lebanon

The first conference of the Democratic Union Party (PYD) youth in Lebanon began under the slogan "Via Youth's Struggle, We Create a Free and Democratic Future." The conference was held in the Beirut meeting hall.

The conference was attended by members of the youth and women's council of the Democratic Union Party (PYD), members and representatives of the Kongra Star, and families and youth of the Kurdish community in Lebanon.

The conference followed years of struggle in Lebanon, and its goal was to organize the youth according to the ideology and philosophy of the democratic nation.

The conference began with the formation of a council. Then, telegrams sent by the Autonomous Administration, the Democratic Union Party (PYD), the Kongra Star, the Culture and Arts Committee, the Jinolojy Committee, and the Newroz Cultural Association were read, as they expressed their hope that the conference would produce important decisions that would contribute to the development of the work and performance of the youth.

The directives of Leader Abdullah Ocalan regarding the role of youth in society were also read, followed by the directives of the Democratic Union Party Council.

A speech by the Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi, was broadcast, in which he emphasized the importance of the youth's role in the struggle and praised their sacrifices and resistance to achieve the physical freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan. Then, a T.V presentation of the youth's activities was shown.

This was followed by reading the youth's organizational report in the Democratic Union Party (PYD) Council.
