The talk of the people came during a tour of a correspondent of Hawar news agency in the markets of Kobani city, a poll of the views of the people regarding the threats of the "dictator" Turkish Erdogan (as described by opponents), which threatens to launch attacks on areas in Rojava and another in Basur Kurdistan.

The residents confirmed their refusal to enter any occupying forces to the borders of their areas, and expressed their readiness to do anything in order to protect the homeland from any hostile attacks.

The Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, or as his opponents call the "dictator", he and a number of leaders in the Turkish government have threatened over the past few days to launch attacks on Kandil areas in Basur Kurdistan.

The threat comes at a time when Erdogan has not stopped threatening to launch attacks on Rojava and North Syria regions, which angered residents in the concerned areas, wondering why the dictator intervened in the affairs of their regions.

"Erdogan knows that the will of the Kurdish people is stronger than his threats, we will not be afraid of anything, we will defend our honor," he said.

Kamal pointed out that Kurdish unity is necessary to confront such threats and chauvinistic policies that target the Kurdish identity.

"Even if we remain one person, we will remain opposed to the Turkish occupation. We will not give up at any price. We will sacrifice our sons and daughters to the homeland and we will not leave our homeland to anyone," she said.

Kanaan wondered about the credibility of the Turkish president in claiming Islam, while sweeping their lands and committing genocide against them during the holy month of Ramadan.

Khalid Jarada, a resident of Kobani city, attributed the Turkish attacks on Afrin and Kandil mountains as an "attempt to thwart the democratic project in the area and to clear the Kurdish presence in every spot."

"The Turkish state occupied Afrin amid international silence, and now it is rushing to carry out military operations on Kandil mountains, but Erdogan knows he will fail in his attack on Kandil and he will fall in Afrin," Jarada said.

The Turkish state, together with mercenary gangs, occupied Afrin city on March 18 after a 58-day of military operation in which Syrian Democratic Forces resisted the Turkish army and mercenary gangs.

Turkish attacks have killed hundreds of civilians, including dozens of children and women from Afrin, as well as the displacement of tens of thousands and the destruction of a large proportion of the infrastructure in the canton.

The Turkish President and a number of Turkish leaders have threaten over the past few days to launch attacks on the Kandil mountains in Basur Kurdistan at a time when the army forces penetrated more than 27 kilometers in the territory of Basur Kurdistan in a bid from Turkey to repeat the scenario Afrin, amid silence enveloping the position of the Iraqi government in Baghdad and the Kurdistan Regional Government.
