NEWS DESK- A delegation of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North Syria held a press conference on Thursday (March 29th) in Paris, explaining the results of their visit to the Elysee Palace and their meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron and senior officials.

The co-chair of the  Executive Committee of Democratic Society Movement, Asia Abdullah  said "Our meeting in Paris was very important, especially since France had supported the war against IS in northern Syria effectively, and its attitude towards the Turkish aggression on Afrin has been positive."

She added "In our meeting, we discussed the situation of Afrin and the support that must be given to the people of Afrin. There was also discussion of continuing the war against IS, and the Autonomous Administration in northern Syria was positively evaluated."

she said that there will be "efforts for Afrin, and also for Manbij, and there is a need to strengthen the defense of the areas that we liberated from the IS, because IS recovered some of its strength after the Turkish aggression on Afrin, and the Turkish state supports terrorist groups in Afrin and other areas. In order to prevent the spread of the influence of terrorism, the French state and the countries of the world must move with Syria's Democratic Forces and continue to support them. "

Asia Abdullah pointed out that IS poses a danger to the whole world, because it is carrying out terrorist operations in any place that can reach, so we say that it is necessary to confront it and there are many means to counter this terrorist organization, "noting that it is normal that France is sending additional troops to Manbij and other areas to counter terrorism and increase its support for Syria's Democratic Forces, stressing that the Elysee "promised to send the necessary support soon."

In response to a question by a French journalist about Turkey's threats to invade Rojava and the north of Syria, and that Turkey threatened to invade all of Rojava and northern Syria, Siham Qeryo, the co-chair of al-Jazeera external relations authority, said: "Since the beginning of the crisis Turkey has threatened to invade In north of Syria, but its goal is the return of the Ottoman Sultanate, which has introduced terrorism into the Syrian interior, after Erdogan failed on many fronts, such as Manbij and al-Raqqa,

she added "Erdogan claims that the People and Women's Protection Units are terrorist forces. The whole world knows that our areas are the safest, Erdogan has many ambitions in the north of Syria to prevent our federal democratic project. He claims that it is a Kurdish project. It is a democratic project, because Autonomous Administration believes in the unity of Syria, the people and all the components. We have many cultures and languages coexist peacefully. Qeryo pointed out that the Turkish occupation of Afrin occurred amidst international silence and shameful, pointing to the start of their movement on the diplomatic level for the conditions of the people in Afrin, and the beginning was from France, as she put it.

She said "We are not allowed to be killed by IS and allowed to be killed by the Turks." Explaining that there were many displaced Syrians in Afrin, "but after the Turkish aggression was displaced and the displacement of the residents of Afrin with them, as mercenaries looted and robbed the homes of civilians and their property."

He also stressed that all the armed elements fighting in Afrin under the name of the Free Army were terrorist groups in other areas in the eyes of Russia and other countries, these battalions are extremist, and committed massacres against civilians in Afrin, and noted the need to provide the necessary assistance to the people of Afrin displaced from their homes and displaced persons he said "This is the mission of the United Nations to ensure their safe return."

he said "We from the beginning wanted peace with Turkey and we also tried to communicate with the Syrian opposition, and we wanted to establish a democratic Syria, but the Turkish state is the one that foiled our attempts ... We welcome the existence of any neutral state that guarantees the security of Turkey's borders so that Turkey does not invoke its national security, Syrian regions ".
