KCK: Report of CPT scandal, essays to cover up some things

NEWS DESK-The co-chair of the Executive Body of the Kurdistan Community Union issued a written statement on the report of the Committee against torture concerning the results of the delegation's visit to Imrali prison and meeting with the Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Ocalan two years ago.

On March 20, the European Committee against Torture (CPT) revealed the content of the report, which was prepared following a visit to Imrali prison and meeting with Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocelan two years ago. The committee revealed the report on the instructions of the Turkish government two days after the occupation of Afrin.
KCK said that revealing the content of the report after two full years, at a time when Turkey is experiencing a state of emergency and suffering from difficult circumstances, challenges the credibility of this institution.

Our people, as well as the democratic forces, must realize that AKP-MHP fascism are the enemy of the Kurdish people, it is also the enemy of leader Ocelan. With the occupation of Afrin they began to escalate the chauvinistic tendencies, as it stepped up its repression against leader Ocelan, and once again demonstrated its true essence as a model of genocide and colonialism. Therefore, our people and democratic forces should always focus on the issue of the security and safety of Leader Ocelan. The struggle for the freedom of our leader must continue.
