13 martyrs in Turkish atttacks on civilian convoys

Thirteen civilians have been martyred thus far as a result of direct attacks by the Turkish occupation state on civilian convoys in North and East Syria. These convoys were en route to the Tishreen Dam, aiming to safeguard it from escalating aggression.

 Since December 8, 2024, Turkish forces have persistently targeted the Tishreen Dam and Qaraqozak Bridge. The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have been actively countering these offensives. The relentless aerial bombardment by the Turkish occupation state has inflicted significant structural damage on the dam, prompting civilians from the region to organize protective convoys to the dam site.

 The Turkish occupation has deliberately and systematically targeted these civilian convoys. To date, these attacks have resulted in the loss of 13 lives.

 January 8, 2025

 The first civilian convoy heading to the Tishreen Dam was attacked, leading to the martyrdom of:

 Zozan Hemo, civilian;

 Karam Ahmad al-Shihab al-Hamad, the member of the Zenobia Women’s Gathering

 Azad Farhan Mohammad Hassan, the member of the Revolutionary Youth Movement.

 January 15, 2025

 An airstrike directly targeting civilians at the Tishreen Dam claimed the lives of:

 Omar Hasan, a healthcare worker;

 Heza Mohammed and Adham Ali, a married couple, Osman Ibrahim, the member of the Executive Council of the Euphrates Canton.

 January 17, 2025

 In another targeted attack on a civilian convoy, Maher Mohammad, a healthcare worker, was martyred.

 January 18, 2025

 A subsequent bombardment at the Tishreen Dam took the lives of:

 Akram Rikho, civilian;

 Kivo Osman, the member of the Families of Martyrs' Council;

 Muneja Haider, Co-chair of the Democratic Union Party Office.

 Muzaffar Mohammad, the  member of the Qamishlo Council.

 Abdel Qader Ibrahim, civilian.
