ISIS taking advantage of Turkish attacks and tries to smuggle their families from Al-Hol camp

With the Turkish occupation escalating its attacks on the NE Syria, since the fall of the Baathist regime late last year, the activity of ISIS mercenary cells has increased, which obtained large quantities of the former regime’s weapons, taking advantage of the overwhelming chaos the country is witnessing and the support it is receiving from the Turkish occupation state.

In this context, informed sources from Al-Hol camp reported to ANHA agency that the security forces in the camp were able yesterday, to thwart an escape attempt by families of ISIS mercenaries from inside the camp.

The sources pointed out that the camp witnesses almost daily attempts to smuggle families of ISIS mercenaries from it, indicating that the movements of ISIS mercenary cells abroad have increased in conjunction with the increase in the activity of mercenary cells inside the camp.

The sources explained that smuggling attempts take place under the cover of darkness, especially during poor visibility and bad weather conditions, but the security forces were on the lookout and succeeded in thwarting the majority of smuggling attempts
