The Coordinating Council of Teachers’ Union Organizations in Iran said that the Revolutionary Court in the city of Sanandaj sentenced women’s rights activist, Gina Modarres, to 10 years in prison on charges of “forming an illegal group to overthrow the regime”, another 10 years on charges of “communicating with enemy countries,” and one year in prison on charges of “propaganda against the regime,” according to what was reported by the Iran International website.
