Women’s Cultural circles desire to meet Leader

Members of the Zirîn Crescent Movement for Women’s Culture at the Aleppo office expressed their deep desire to meet Leader Abdullah Ocalan, affirming that his thought has been a source of inspiration for them in establishing art as a revolutionary tool to protect cultural identity and enhance social awareness.

The young woman Saya Osman said that her strong longing for Leader Abdullah Ocalan stems from a firm conviction that art plays a fundamental role in supporting revolutions, equal in importance to politics and weapons. She pointed out that “thought and art are two complementary elements in the battle to defend existence.”

She added, “Despite the cultural genocide attempts carried out by occupying forces, art remains deeply rooted in the roots of history. The leader’s thought reinforces this truth and gives us the strength to preserve our identity through revolutionary art.”

For her part, the young woman Shirin Khalil, a member of the movement, confirmed that true art cannot be separated from ideology, saying: “We express our solidarity with the campaign through our voice and artistic identity. We also wish to meet our leader. We believe that art does not gain its true meaning unless it is based on conscious thought, and the leader’s thought gives us the compass to produce art that confronts dissolution and preserves identity.”

Khadija Hassan affirmed that meeting the leader is a deep desire for everyone influenced by his thought, adding: “We owe the leader throughout our lives, and no matter what we contribute, we will never fully repay his struggle. We practice art as the leader has guided us, because it is a deeply rooted idea, and an idea never dies.”

In conclusion, the three young women unanimously agreed that the leader’s physical freedom is an irrevocable demand, and that they will escalate their artistic and intellectual struggle until this goal is reached, and they will not stop until they see him among them.
