Women in Al-Hol condemn targeting of Journalists Gulestan and Hiro
Dozens of women in the town of Al-Hol, Jazera Canton, condemned the Turkish occupation's targeting of journalists Gulestan Tara and Hiro Bahaa al-Din, asserting that this attack is an assault on the voice of truth.
The women, led by the K. Star, issued a statement denouncing the Turkish occupation's attack on the journalists in the Sayed Sadiq area of S. Kurdistan on August 23.
The statement, read by Badriya Al-Hussein from the K. Star in Al-Hol, began by noting that the Turkish occupation continues to commit crimes against the people of the region.
The statement condemned the targeting of journalists Gulestan Tara and Hiro Bahaa al-Din, describing it as a crime against humanity perpetrated by the Turkish occupation to silence the voice of truth and prevent exposure of its ongoing crimes.
