Bodies of Damascus Forces soldiers executed in the field in Homs
The bodies of 9 soldiers of the Damascus government forces "17th Division" were found, who had been executed in the field by bullets, by ISIS mercenary cells in the Homs countryside.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights SOHR reported that the bodies of 9 soldiers of the "17th Division" affiliated with the Damascus government forces were found, who had been executed in the field by bullets, by ISIS mercenary cells in the Palmyra desert near the third station east of Homs city, days after losing contact with a military group from the division that included an officer and a non-commissioned officer, in addition to many members.
According to the SOHR, some of the bodies were decomposed and were transferred to Palmyra National Hospital and then to Homs Military Hospital.
The death toll during military attacks in the Syrian Badia, according to documentation from the same source, has reached 497 since the beginning of 2024, including: 49 citizens, including a child, 419 from the Damascus government forces and groups loyal to them, and 29 ISIS mercenaries, who were killed in 178 ISIS attacks in various areas of the Badia, carried out through ambushes, armed attacks, and bombings in the Badia of Deir-ez-Zor, Raqqa, and Homs.
