HPG destroy armored vehicle, 2 observation systems of Turkish occupation army
The People Defense Forces fighters carried out a series of operations against the Turkish occupation army in Zap, Matina and Khakurki, in the defense areas of Medya in S. Kurdistan, which resulted in the destruction of 2 surveillance systems and the damage of the Kirby armored vehicle.
Today, the Media Center of the People's Defense Forces (HPG) issued a statement about the operations carried out by the Gêrîla and the attacks launched by the Turkish occupation army in the defense areas of Medya in S. Kurdistan, stating:
In Haftanin:
On August 23, at 3:00 P.M., our forces in the Free Women's Units – Star targeted and destroyed a surveillance camera system in the square of Tal Qasrouk Hill.
On August 23, at 16:00, our forces targeted and destroyed a surveillance camera system (Mobesse) in the square of Qasrouk Hill.
In the Khakurki region:
On August 22, at 09:00, our forces twice targeted the occupiers in the square of Kordina Hill with heavy weapons.
In the area of the martyr Dalil west of Zap:
On August 20, at 18:10, the unit of the martyr Akhin Mosh carried out an air operation against the occupiers in the Resistance Square in Serkil, which resulted in the damage of a Kirby armored vehicle.
On August 22, at 5:33 P.M. and 5:50 P.M., our forces targeted the occupiers in the Resistance Square in Amadiya Hill with heavy weapons.
On August 23, at 06:25, our forces targeted the occupiers in the resistance square in Amadiya Hill with heavy weapons.
On August 25, at 11:00 A.M., our forces targeted with heavy weapons the occupiers in the Resistance Square in Amadiya Hill.
On August 24, at 02:00, our forces targeted with heavy weapons the occupiers in the Resistance Square in Serkil.

On 23 August, our tunnels in the resistance square on FM Hill were bombed twice with prohibited weapons.

Between 22-26 August, the squares of Kun, Bibad and Shekftian Hill in the Gari region were subjected to attacks 6 times, the squares of Kheniriya Jor, Barbzana, Beritan Martyr, Sharif Martyr, Sinin, in the Khakurki area were bombarded by warplanes 16 times, the Resistance Square in Sheli in the Matina region once, and the Martyr Jihan Hill Square in Qandil area once, for a total of 24 times.
On 23 and 25 August, the resistance square in Sari Matina in the Matina area and the Martyr Beritan Square in the Khakurki area were shelled by helicopters."
