During the past few days, Serê kaniyê camp for displaced persons in the occupied city of Serê kaniyê / Ras al-Ain received 16 families from Lebanon who came from the war and descended from the occupied city of Serê kaniyê.

In this context, the co-chair of the Serê kaniyê camp, Salwa Ahmed, indicated in a phone call with ANHA agency, that they hosted 16 families in the new section, which was expanded to receive school residents in Hasaka within the camp, and provided them with aid and tents.

"Today, dozens of new refugees are heading to the camp, but we are facing difficulties in securing a place for them, because there is no space in the camp to put up new tents for them, and the organizations have refused to help," she said.

According to information obtained by ANHA correspondent, the Autonomous Administration has opened the door for arrivals from Lebanon to go to the Arisha and Newroz camps, if they are not residents of the region.

The number of arrivals to the NE Syria, from Lebanon, since the beginning of the Israeli escalation on Southern Lebanon, reached 16,243 people, between Syrian and Lebanese, according to the latest toll revealed by the crisis cell formed by the Autonomous Administration, which is concerned with the affairs of returnees and arrivals from Lebanon.

Within the framework of the efforts of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of the NE Syria to secure the return of Syrians from Lebanon to their areas of origin, the Representation of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of NE Syria in Lebanon and the Newroz Cultural and Social Association continuously facilitate Syrians wishing to return from Lebanon to the region of NE Syria.

The Autonomous Administration Representation notes the facilitation of logistical and administrative procedures for refugees wishing to return, with an emphasis on providing them with the necessary support through the Autonomous Administration institutions in the region.

From a humanitarian standpoint, the representative of the Democratic Autonomous Administration in Lebanon took it upon itself to return Syrians to the region who wish to return, as it formed a committee on September 24, to follow up on the affairs of Syrian refugees and those from the NE Syria region.
