Saleh Gedo: Rojava Unity Conference represents model for all Kurdistan
Saleh Gedo, the Secretary of the Kurdish Democratic Left Party in Syria, stated that the Conference for Kurdish Unity of Position and Ranks in Rojava represents a model for all of Kurdistan, and emphasized the need to take similar steps towards unity in the other parts of Kurdistan as well.
Speaking to ANHA Agency about the Conference for the Unity of Kurdish Position and Ranks in Rojava, held on April 26, Saleh Gedo, Secretary of the Kurdish Democratic Left Party in Syria (P.Ç.D.K-S), highlighted the significance of this event.
Gedo described the conference as a historic moment not only for the Kurdish people in Rojava, but for Kurds across all four parts of Kurdistan. He asserted that the unity conference in Rojava serves as a model for the other three parts of Kurdistan and represents a first step towards achieving Kurdish rights. He expressed his hope for the strengthening and deepening of Kurdish unity.
Gedo stressed the necessity for all Kurdish parties in the other parts of Kurdistan to resolve their differences and overcome their challenges in order to build their unity, ultimately leading to the convening of a comprehensive National Congress at the level of all Kurdistan.
He also noted that delegations from Northern and Southern Kurdistan attended the Unity Conference in Rojava, and that a message of support was received from Eastern Kurdistan. Gedo described the day the conference was held as a "blessed day" and a "day of victory."
