KNK discusses Kurdish Unity Conference with political parties
During its visits to several parties and institutions in Qamishlo, a delegation from the Kurdistan National Congress (KNK) highlighted the significance of convening the "Conference on Kurdish Unity and Consensus in Rojava Kurdistan," describing it as a "historic day".
As part of discussions regarding the outcomes of the "Conference on Kurdish Unity and Consensus in Rojava Kurdistan," held on April 26 in the city of Qamishlo, within the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, a KNK delegation has been conducting a series of meetings with political parties and civil councils in Qamishlo.
The KNK delegation included the Co-Chair of the Congress, Zeyneb Murad; the Co-Chair of the KNK in Rojava, Hevi Mustafa; and members of the KNK Executive Committee, Abeer Hesaf and Taz Basha.
The delegation began its visit by paying homage at the Martyr Dalil Sarokhan Cemetery, where they met with the Council of Martyrs' Families in Qamishlo. They presented flowers to the mothers of the martyrs and laid wreaths at the graves.
Subsequently, the delegation visited the Euphrates Center for Studies, meeting with its members. They also met with the Co-Chairs of the Democratic People's Council and the Executive Council of Jazira Canton, where they were received by Hikmat Habib, Arya Mulla Ahmad, Vivian Bahu, and Hassan Sharu.
At the conclusion of their tour, the delegation visited the Kongra Star Center, where they were welcomed by the spokesperson of the Kongra Star , Reyhan Luqo, along with members of the Congress’s Diplomatic Relations Office.
Throughout all meetings, the delegation emphasized the significance of holding the "Conference on Kurdish Unity and Consensus in Rojava," describing it as a "historic day." They affirmed that the unity achieved was made possible through the resistance of the fighters, the sacrifices of the martyrs, and the struggle of women, stressing that without these efforts, unity would not have been attained.
The delegation will continue its visits to political parties and institutions in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria on April 30, although the names of the parties and institutions to be visited have not been disclosed.
