The founding committee of the Council of Religions and Beliefs in North and East Syria sent a congratulatory message on the occasion of Red Wednesday.

The committee congratulated the Yazidi community on Red Wednesday and hoped that this holiday would be a reason for a life of peace and stability.

The committee said: “Şengal, which is the symbol of the existence of the Yazidi people and the Yazidi religion, is searching for its people who live within it and defend it for thousands of years.”

The committee explained: “We congratulate our Yazidi and Kurdish people and the entire world on the Yazidi New Year. We hope that our Yazidi people will live in peace and stability, preserve their belief, and live independently in the embrace of their motherland, Şengal we also hope to build a stronger unity among the Yazidi people to guarantee their freedom.”

The committee explained: “In the hope that this holiday will bring with it light and goodness and will be an occasion for organizing the Yazidi community and equality among all peoples.
