Raqqa Canton in North and East Syria is witnessing reading sessions of Leader Abdullah Ocalan’s pleas, by 14 groups, and each group consists of 10 to 12 people and includes politicians, intellectuals and jurists, in which the participants see a way to understand the region’s issues and ways to solve them.

Reading is one of the most important methods of enhancing abilities

A member of the training office in the Democratic Autonomous Administration of Raqqa Canton, Bashir al-Nayef, a participant in one of the groups, said that reading is the second method of training, and is of great importance for enhancing the capabilities of every individual in society, especially reading that depends on analysis.

Al-Nayef added: “We are carrying out reading campaigns for the volumes of Leader Abdullah Ocalan within the Manifesto of Democratic Civilization, which includes resolving all social and economic issues and developing solutions through these volumes.”

He also confirmed that in the coming days they are seeking to expand these groups, read the sociology of freedom, and target society within the countryside and the city by forming additional groups.

He stressed the need to spread the ideas of Leader Abdullah Ocalan in every home: “The thought and philosophy of Leader Abdullah Ocalan must be present in every home in North and East Syria. The leader’s pleas are widely spread and have become international and are taught in international universities and translated into a number of languages such as Spanish, French, Hindi, and many languages adopted this thought and adopted these volumes.”

The number of readers is constantly increasing

Ra' ad al-Fadil, also a participant in the reading groups, said that his participation in reading the volumes of Leader Abdullah Ocalan began on November 10 of last year, along with intellectuals and writers from Raqqa Canton. He stressed the increase in “the number of readers and participants in reading the pleadings to the point that they have become widespread among the people.”

Al-Fadil added, "The discussion on the book "the Sociology of Freedom" is important because it studies social issues and studies the problems that we suffer from in our societies, such as economic issues, issues of style, dialogue, and other societal issues."

Al-Fadil stated that the goal of reading these arguments is to find solutions to the issues that society in general suffers from, and from which the Middle East suffers, “in addition to many of the issues raised by the leader and developing solutions for them, and we are indebted to the leader because he developed these solutions.”

At the end of his speech, Ra' ad al-Fadil stressed that Leader Abdullah Ocalan’s pleas are the only way to reach a democratic nation and solve the problems of the Middle East.
