KCK calls on voters to back HDP in Turkish elections
The Kurdistan Communities Union (KCK) called on the people of Turkey and northern Kurdistan to vote for the People's Democratic Party candidates.
KCK made a statement regarding the local elections in Turkey and North Kurdistan, scheduled to be held on March 31, and made it clear that the Justice and Development Party and the National Movement should not get a single vote, and said: the people should back People's Democratic Party candidates.
KCK added that all kinds of pressure and tricks are being exerted to prevent the candidates of the Equality and Peoples’ Democracy Party from winning in Kurdistan, and stressed that in order to thwart this, the people must go to the ballot boxes with strong participation.
“The Justice and Development Party, the National Movement Party, and its collaborators want to normalize and legitimize the proxy system by taking over Kurdistan municipalities through pressure, fraud, and conspiracies, so the people of North Kurdistan must not allow this to happen,” KCK explained.
