Residents of the al-Yaliyah (Aliyan) region warned of the deterioration of the health condition of leader Abdullah Ocalan as a result of continued isolation and harsh detention conditions. They stressed that what he is subjected to poses a serious threat to his life, emphasizing that ending the isolation and securing his physical freedom are essential steps toward advancing the peace process and a democratic society. The third Kurdish Film Festival will be held in Düsseldorf, Germany, from April 17–19. It will open with the film “Birako Heval” under the slogan “Salute to the Resistance of Rojava.” The braid of the resisting woman, which has become a symbol of Rojava’s resistance, has been chosen as the festival’s emblem.
