An unknown object, suspected to be a hand grenade, exploded while a group of children were playing with it in the town of Kherbet Ghazala in northern Daraa countryside, resulting in injuries to five children. Three of the injured sustained serious wounds and were transferred to hospitals for treatment.

According to reports, all five children are under ten years old.

War remnants are widespread across areas controlled by the Syrian Interim Government. These are the legacy of the 14-year-long conflict over power, causing almost daily casualties among Syrians. These remnants often cause injuries that lead to permanent disabilities. No actions have been taken by the Interim Government or relevant international organizations to address this critical issue.
