Extensive combing operations underway inside "Migrant and Iraqi" sections of al-Hol camp
The security operation inside al-Hol camp continues for the second day, with extensive search and combing operations taking place inside the camp, which is home to thousands of families of ISIS mercenaries

The security operation launched by the Internal Security Forces and the Internal Security Forces - Women in NE Syria, with the participation of the Women's Protection Units (YPJ) and support from the Syrian Democratic Forces, continues for the second day. The operation aims to comb al-Hol camp and its surroundings.
Participating security forces deployed inside the camp this morning and began combing operations that are still ongoing, focusing their efforts on the "migrant" and "Iraqi" sections within the camp.
The General Command of the Internal Security Forces announced in a statement yesterday, Friday (April 19), the launch of a security operation based on accurate information about the presence of active ISIS mercenary cells inside and outside the camp. The statement noted that recent developments in the region, both military and political, have allowed some ISIS mercenary cells to reactivate and carry out attacks.
The statement pointed to repeated attempts by ISIS cells to smuggle families, spread their extremist ideology within the camp, and target the centers of humanitarian organizations operating there. This has prompted the security forces to intensify their preemptive operations to confront this threat.
Al-Hol camp, located approximately 45 km from the city of Hasaka, is home to 13,124 Iraqis, 15,805 Syrians, and 6,385 families of ISIS mercenaries
