The Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria continues to welcome returnees from Lebanon amid Turkish occupation attacks.

According to the latest statements from the Crisis Cell specialized in the affairs of those coming from Lebanon, which was formed by the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, "the total number of people entering the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria from Lebanon has reached 20,206."

The head of the Displaced Persons and Refugees Affairs Office in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, Sheikhmus Ahmed, said: "When the war in Lebanon began, the Autonomous Administration opened its crossings for the return of Syrian refugees to the region of North and East Syria."

Sheikhmus Ahmed explained: "The Autonomous Administration allocated camps and shelters for those who do not have family, relatives, or homes in North and East Syria. Among these camps was the Al-Adnaniya camp, which was established by the Social Affairs and Labor Authority in Raqqa Canton. A number of families, more than 50, were transferred to the camp."

Ahmed noted that "from the first day, all services were provided by the Autonomous Administration, including tents, relief materials, medical care, blankets, bedding necessities, in addition to two meals a day, which continued throughout their stay in the camp."

Ahmed pointed out the negligence of organizations in providing services to this camp, which prompted the Autonomous Administration to transfer the families from the Adnaniya camp to the Mahmoudli camp in the Tabqa region.

Ahmed explained that these families were registered after their transfer to the Mahmoudli camp, and they will receive monthly relief rations, in addition to daily bread distribution and fuel distribution for heating at the beginning of December.

Sheikhmus Ahmed stated that the Autonomous Administration is always proactive in proposing initiatives regarding the Syrian humanitarian file, and he lamented that these initiatives are met with "attacks by the Turkish occupying state on North and East Syria, targeting its vital and economic resources."

Sheikhmus Ahmed sent a message to the international powers and humanitarian organizations affiliated with the United Nations, the Arab League, and the European Union, urging them to take a serious stance against the attacks launched by the Turkish occupying state on the regions of North and East Syria, amidst the arrival of thousands of returnees from Lebanon.

Sheikhmus Ahmed emphasized the region's need for international support, assistance, and protection against any attack that may target the area by the Turkish occupying state. He also called on international powers to reopen the Tel Koçer crossing and allow aid to enter the region of North and East Syria.
