Damascus forces trade fires with mercenaries in NW Syria
According to SOHR, an officer in the Damascus forces was killed by the "Al-Fatah Al-Mubin" mercenaries in the northern countryside of Latakia.
In another attack, a mercenary affiliated with Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham was killed after Damascus forces targeted their position on the Al-Ghab Plain in the Hama countryside.
Mutual targeting continues between Damascus forces on the one hand, and mercenaries on the other, resulting in deaths and injuries on both sides.
Thus, the death toll has risen to 178 since the beginning of 2024, during 149 attacks, and more than 133 people were injured in the aforementioned attacks.
