Today, the Executive Council of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of the Tabqa Canton organized a dialogue seminar under the slogan "The Role of Society in Consolidating Stability and Civil Peace," held at the Cultural Center in the city of Tabqa. The event was attended by dozens of representatives from the Democratic Autonomous Administration, its affiliated bodies and councils, the Future Syria Party Council, the Zenobia Women's Gathering Council, as well as displaced persons from Afrin and Shahba regions.

The seminar commenced with a moment of silence in tribute to the martyrs, followed by a speech delivered by Mahmoud Al-Maslat, Co-Chair of the Syrian Democratic Council. In his address, Al-Maslat emphasized that "civil peace is not merely a slogan but a daily practice that demands mutual trust among all societal components and the active combating of hate speech and divisive rhetoric."

He pointed out that "the city of Tabqa has provided a successful model of achieving stability after a long period of suffering, ranging from Ba'athist authoritarian rule to the darkness of extremist groups," and stressed that "the responsibility for preserving this stability lies with society as a whole."

Al-Maslat reaffirmed the unity of Syrian territory and people, stating: "Syria is an indivisible country, and the sons and daughters of Syria must shoulder their responsibilities to establish security, stability, and actively contribute to building a democratic, pluralistic homeland through peace and fostering dialogue."

He further noted, "Society will not merely be a recipient of peace but its principal architect; through solidarity among all components, we will confront every challenge, and no force will be able to break our will when we stand united."

He also highlighted "the vital role of tribal communities as an authentic component and a historical safeguard of society, underscoring the importance of their contribution to fostering civil peace, extinguishing discord, rejecting sectarianism and treachery, and combating corruption — all essential for building a strong and just nation."

Al-Maslat called for "the full representation of all Syrian components in any future political negotiations, affirming that sustainable peace cannot be achieved without the participation of all segments of the Syrian people in shaping the future of their country."

In their interventions, participants strongly emphasized "their rejection of civil war, their commitment to rallying around the project of civil peace and shared coexistence, and the necessity of building Syria's future as a decentralized, pluralistic state that protects the rights of all its components and embodies national unity."
