Two Yazidi youths handed over to their families in Shengal
The Yazidi House in Jazira Canton and the Syrian Democratic Forces' Military Relations Department handed over two Yazidi youths, Diyar Ali Rafo and Othman Khairo Khedida, to their families at the Tal Kocher/Al-Yarubiyah crossing.
On April 21, the Syrian Democratic Forces handed over two Yazidi youths, Diyar Ali Rafo and Othman Khairo Khedida, to the Yazidi House in Jazira Canton in North and East Syria. The two youths had been kidnapped by ISIS mercenaries during their attack on Shengal District in 2014. They were taken with their families to several locations within the area where the mercenaries operated between Iraq and Syria. They also underwent so-called "Sharia courses."
Today, the Yazidi House and the Military Relations Department of the Syrian Democratic Forces handed over the two young men to their families at the Tal Kocher border crossing.
