33 parties, political blocs call for general mobilization against Turkish aggression

Since April 16, the Turkish occupation army has launched a new attack against the Defense areas, as the People's Defense Forces said in a statement yesterday: “The Turkish occupation army launched, on the night of April 16, an occupation attack on the squares of the villages of Asi, Yakmal, Kharab, Khank and Shilaza in the Matina area.” 

Today, 33 parties and political blocs in NE Syria called on the Kurdish people everywhere to mobilize, to put pressure on world public opinion to stop the ongoing Turkish aggression against our people everywhere. The statement was read in the public relations building in the city of Qamishlo, by the head of the Legal Office of the Conservative Party, Adnan Ezzo, and it stated:

“The Turkish regime insists to show to the whole world its fascist and hostile truth to justice, the rights of peoples, and the sovereignty of states, as stated in the Charter of the United Nations. Furthermore, it does not accept the democratic process in the recent election."

"It has mobilized its media before its army, and now it is starting a new aggressive war against the Kurdish people, violating Iraqi sovereignty and the sovereignty of the Kurdistan region, under the pretext of fighting the Gêrîla forces, in the Defense areas to create a security belt within the Kurdistan region."

"This fascist regime also does not hesitate to commit the most horrific massacres and even use internationally banned weapons in order to end the Kurdish people’s demand for their rights."

Turkish occupation is working with all its might to drag the Kurdish forces into joining its aggressive war against the People's Protection Forces, the Gêrîla, and ignite a Kurdish-Kurdish war.

We are in the Kurdish, Arab, and Syriac Assyrian political organizations and parties in Rojava Kurdistan condemn in the strongest terms this aggressive war, we call on the United Nations, the European Union, and all peace-loving and democracy-loving countries and forces to stop Turkish attacks and solve the Kurdish issue in a just, democratic solution. We appeal to the Kurdish powers not to engage in the Turkish aggressive war against the Gêrîla.

 We call on the Iraqi government, and the Kurdistan Regional Government to reject this aggressive war and not be drawn into it, and to submit a complaint to the Security Council against the Turkish aggression on its lands. We also call on our people everywhere to mobilize, to put pressure on global public opinion to stop the ongoing Turkish aggression against our people everywhere.
