From Şengal: Turkish attacks are attempt to prevent trial of ISIS mercenaries

Yesterday, the Democratic Autonomous Administration in Şengal and the Free Yezidi Women's Movement (TAJÊ) made a joint statement condemning the Turkish occupation's attacks on NE Syria. The statement was read by the co-chair of the administration, Nayef Shmmo.

At the beginning of the statement, it read: "We denounce and strongly condemn these brutal and immoral attacks against Rojava and our leaders. The main reason for the intensification of these brutal attacks on Rojava is an attempt to prevent the trial of the mercenaries of the terrorist organization ISIS. We are with the people of Rojava".

The statement added: "The enemy must know very well that he will not be able to achieve his goal through these attacks. This ideology was created by free will, and no force can eliminate it".

On behalf of the Free Yazidi Women's Movement, Reham Hajo made a statement in which she said: "In the person of Yusra and Lyman, we remember all our martyrs with respect and gratitude. The aim of these attacks on our leaders in Rojava and Şengal is to exterminate the Kurdish people and the Yazidi community".

she added: "The brutal attacks on Rojava are increasing every day, and everyone knows very well that the goal of the Turkish occupation of these attacks is to prevent the trial of ISIS mercenaries, because when these terrorist mercenaries are actually tried, the true face of the Turkish state will be revealed again".
