Citizens in NE Syria from the areas of contact with the areas occupied by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries stressed the importance of the people's revolutionary war, in the face of the continuous attacks.

The Turkish occupation army's attacks on NE Syria have continued, since the start of the July 19 revolution in 2012.

It escalated after the Turkish presidential elections, the latest of which was the massacre that took place in Qamishlo Canton.

Last Tuesday, June 20, the Turkish occupation state targeted a car of the Qamishlo Canton Council on the road between the city of Qamishlo and Tirbespiyê district, which resulted in the martyrdom of the co-chair of the Canton Council, Yusra Darwish, the deputy co-chair of the Council, Lyman Shiwiesh, and the member of the Canton Council, Furat Toma.

The KCK noted that the Turkish occupation state seeks to occupy Rojava and Syria and annihilate the Kurds, and called on the people in Rojava and NE Syria for a comprehensive resistance in the face of the attacks, to prevent its occupation.

The position of NE Syria people regarding the almost daily attacks, that are taking place in NE Syria, carried out by Turkish occupation drones along the region from Shahba to Qamishlo Canton.

The citizen Abd al-Rahman Hussein, from the people of Tal Tamr district, adjacent to the Serêkaniyê, which has been occupied by Turkey and its mercenaries since 2019, said about what their areas have been witnessing recently, "Turkey has begun a new phase after the elections, it is seeking war, and what confirms this are its attacks against NE Syria.

He explained that the region is going through a sensitive stage, and everyone must realize its sensitivity, as well as realize Turkey's efforts to occupy and move in a spirit of responsibility, and choose resistance as a way to thwart these endeavors, because the results of this stage will determine the future of the region and its people.

The IDP from the occupied Serêkaniyê area, Abd al-Razaq Muhammad, who lives in the same district of Tal Tamr, said "Everyone knows that the Turkish occupation state has not stopped its threats and attacks against the region, in an attempt to empty the region of its indigenous people and change it demographically".

For his part, the citizen, Radwan Khalaf, saw that the escalation in the attacks of the Turkish occupation army on NE Syria, are due to the fluctuation in the political and military balances between the parties involved in the Syrian affairs.

He also said, "The stage we are going through is very sensitive, especially after their insistence on continuing the attacks on NE Syria, the only power that can break the hopes of the Turkish occupation and its

mercenaries is the Syrian Democratic Forces, so we must support our military forces to protect the region and its people".

In 2018, Turkey occupied the city of Afrin, following a massive ground and air attack that lasted for 58 days. It also occupied Serêkaniyê and Girê Spî in 2019 after a similar attack that lasted for 10 days.
