PDK prevents theater group from participating in Yekta Hercule Festival
The authorities of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (PDK) prevented the entry of a theater group from Başûr (Southern Kurdistan) to Rojava to participate in the Martyr Yekta Hercule Theater Festival in its sixth session.
ANHA correspondent in the city of Qamishlo stated that the play "Awareness of the Corpse", which was scheduled to be shown today on the stage of the Muhammad Sheikho Center for Culture and Art, was canceled, as the band did not enter Rojava.
According to the Preparatory Committee PDK prevented the band from Başûr (Southern Kurdistan) from entering Rojava to participate in the festival.
Therefore, its performance, which was scheduled for today as part of the activities of the fifth day of the Martyr Yekta Hercule Festival for Theater in its sixth session, was canceled.
The activities of the sixth session of the Martyr Yekta Hercule Festival kicked off on March 27, with the performance of the play "The Stone", at the Muhammad Sheikho Center for Culture and Art in the city of Qamishlo.
