​​​​​​​Arab experts on second Paris massacre: France is negligent

 A person opened fire in the vicinity of the Kurdish Cultural Center in the French capital, Paris, on December 23, which led to the death of 3 people, including the leader of the Kurdish women's movement in France, Amina Kara, and two people, one of whom was the artist and political refugee, Mir Perwer, and the injury of others.

 According to the media, the accused had previously carried out the crime of stabbing a person in 2016, and stabbed two Sudanese in 2021, and after his release from prison, he carried out shooting out incident against the Kurds.

France's failure to adopt the hypothesis of the terrorist motive from the outset raised anger and questions, especially since the man confessed to targeting the victims and that he initially intended to "assassinate immigrants" in a town north of the capital, where a large number of residents of foreign origin reside;  This is motivated by "pathological hatred", according to the media.

 The decision of the French authorities to lift the preventive detention of the person involved in the accident, and to transfer him to the psychiatric clinic at the police headquarters, also raised questions about the French role in the crime.

 Observers believe that the decision of the French authorities to cancel the detention of the accused opens the door to suspicions of complicity in the incident, and that the criminal history of the accused is supposed to make him subject to surveillance by the authorities in light of his racist criminal history.

 For his part, the Egyptian writer residing in Austria and founder of the International Federation of Egyptian Citizens Abroad, Bahgat Al-Obeidi, said, "This terrorist incident is the second after the killing of three Kurdish women a decade ago, which raises those griefs by recalling the painful incident, so that the pain continues to squeeze the soul of every person."  He possesses human feelings and monitors what the Kurdish people are exposed to, once at the hands of the armies of countries, such as the daily attack carried out by the Turkish army against the Kurds in their homeland, in which they are denied the establishment of a state for them in it like the rest of the peoples of different countries of the world. Again from what the people of this country are exposed to  the people whose land was narrowed, so the diaspora was a temporary shelter for them, so the sinful criminal hands of racists target them, as happened in this terrorist incident in France recently.

Inadequate French handling of the issue

 Al-Obaidi confirmed to our agency, "Despite the widespread condemnations by French officials, led by President Emmanuel Macron, who described the attack as heinous and showed all sympathy for the victims, and the people who struggle to live and with their families and loved ones. However, we believe that this is not enough,  Especially since it was announced that the murderous criminal was known to the French authorities for his racism against foreigners in general, which we see, by virtue of our experience and our three decades of residence in the West, that the security authorities must place the perpetrator under strict surveillance, especially since there is an increase in intolerance against foreigners and a steady increase.  In the extreme right-wing movement throughout the European continent and in France in particular, which threatens social peace by targeting the category of foreigners, which today represents a significant percentage in both France and Europe in general.

 Al-Obaidi called on "the French and Western authorities in general; first, to stand with the Kurdish people in general regarding the aggression and injustice they are exposed to in their homeland and to support them in establishing their state on their land inhabited by the Kurds for thousands of years, and secondly, to work on enacting decisive and deterrent laws to protect immigrants."  Especially those who suffer from the lack of a state for them like the Kurdish people.

 Al-Obeidi also emphasized "the importance of spreading the values ​​of tolerance among immigrants and foreigners in general, and the need to define the important role they play in building those societies to which they migrated, especially since many children of Kurdish immigrants and others are achieving successes that are mentioned in France and other countries, and society must know  The French; they are not a burden on him, especially as they are active in all aspects of life and contribute to all aspects of life.

In turn, the Algerian journalist, Hakima Dahabi, saw that the French inaction stems first from the fact that France does not look at the phenomenon of terrorism as defined by the United Nations, but rather from the logic of Islamophobia, i.e. for France, which is dominated by extreme right-wing thought in its decision-making circles, especially in the intelligence apparatus.  ;  That everything that is not Islamic is not terrorism, but only racism.

 Hakima said to our agency, "France, after the Ukrainian crisis, wants to re-win Turkey's trust and does not want to anger Ankara by taking a position that does justice to the Kurds."
