Head of the Syrian Reformist Trend Shukri Sheikhani confirmed that there are powers at the head of which Turkey seeks to strike at the stability in the region and bring in disorder and anarchy adding that peoples of the region have no option but unity and complementarity.

The Middle East in general and Kurdistan in particular face threats and plots by regional and global powers at the head of which is Turkey that targets the peoples of the region via creating troubles and sowing sedition and disorder between peoples living in the region.

The Middle East and Kurdistan pass through a very critical period. On the topic ANHA carried out an interview with Head of the Syrian Reformist Trend Shukri Sheikhani .

Shukri confirmed that there are powers at the head of which Turkey seeks to strike at the stability in the region and bring in disorder and anarchy adding that peoples of the region have no option but unity and complementarity.

Responding to a question on the threats posed to the region by regional powers notably Turkey that seek to occupy the region and the way proper for Arabs Kurds and Syriacs to protect the region, Sheikhani said:

''it is very obvious that unity among peoples and coherence is the way to build civilizations and its growth, and on the contrary when peoples are disunited and dismembered they reduce and vanish. It is via unity, coherence and awareness that people ascend. Political parties and movements have a big role in educating the society in a democratic way in a very good manner that shows the unity of peoples and the region as well. Civil society foundations and bodies can propose the communal visions on the concept of the unity of peoples to stand up to threats and dangers and challenges that face the region''.

Regarding a question on how Turkey seeks to isolate every component alone to defeat them one after another, Shukri Sheikhani said:

''countries such as Iran, Turkey and the Ba'athist government in Damascus seek to plat human mines to create disorder and disunity among peoples of the region via its spies, agents and infiltrators and traitors.

First, between the peoples of the region alone, then second within a people itself to make easy the process of overcoming them.

In fact we can not forget that Turkey, Iran and the Syrian regime have troubles with peoples of the region in general and with the Kurdish people in particular. There are big problems made up by these regimes. Peoples of the region have no option but to unite and take one side as their destiny is a mutual one''.

On the best way to unity Sheikhani said: ''there are always thinkers, intellectuals and statesmen, journalists and writers too than can play their role by working out on increasing the political and cultural and clinging to homeland. They have on their shoulders mass duties and responsibilities in working out on the unity of peoples and stand up to any aggression''.

Based on the idea of the democratic nation, how could Kurds Arabs and Syriacs of the region in general in of Syria in particular reach unity?

''it is being said that unity is strength, the world, the whole world respects neither but the strong one. He weak one is disrespect even if he is the one that is rightful.

The thesis of the democratic nation developed by leader Abdulla Ocalan is the best way to be modelled upon by the peoples of the region.

The thesis of the democratic nation was not for the Kurds alone, it suits all peoples that live peacefully together. It is true that it is not for the Kurds alone.

There are instances from the history that equates this idea. In the Sasanian Empire all peoples lived together having a degree of autonomy in a way or another. This thesis is a one that suits the future of all peoples of the region to live peacefully though it may be acknowledged that it faces some difficulties.

We are all with the idea that advocates all peoples of  the region live together peacefully and democratically after all nation states and religious states fell to the ground.  ''
