Under pressure from the Turkish state and in line with its interests Germany imposed a blockade on the Kurdistan Workers' Party, PKK, for the very first time in 1993 followed suit by Israel, France, England and the U.S. including the party in the EU terrorism list from then up to date.

The Belgium Court of Cassation upheld the ruling passed by the Court of Appeal in 2019 stipulating the PKK not a terrorist organization, and in turn the Kurds for Justice Initiative launched in December 13, 2021 called for an international campaign to remove the party from the black list joined by at least 1000 notable personalities from 30 countries in addition to intellectuals, artists, MPs, politicians and authors.

On the issue, Gulistan Sheikho, administrator in the Aleppo Kongra Star Coordination said' the Kurdistan Freedom Movement from its commencement up to date is a target for ruling powers '' of course they have got their reasons for the ideology adopted by the party is a one that embraces freedom for Kurdistan. These ruling powers are perturbed by the party approach. They party was attacked by capitalist powers''.

On the case of Olof Palmer, Swedish Prime Minster that was assassinated in 1986 on which the party was accused Gulistan said '' the party was accused of assassinating Sweden Prime Minister for which it was included in the Black list by Germany. But though the party was exonerated of the murder it is still included in the list''.

Gulistan went on to say the PKK is a humanitarian party which emanates from peoples from its foundation up to date, it includes all classes and strata such a Kemal Pir '' the PKK represents the Kurdish people and all repressed peoples and its inclusion in the list is a pretext''.

''the leader lately said he can find solution to all Middle East crises peacefully hence the key to the solution lies in the Imrali Island that cause that pushes Turkey to tighten isolation on the leader. If the PKK is delisted from the black list leader would eventually be released from prison''.

Khalil Na'san a national figure says if we look at the Kurdistan Workers' Party and insight into its core it is relevant to all nationals and to build homeland and it has nothing to do with terror at all, but it is the international interests and the Turkish media that put the pae=rty in the black list''.

Khalil, who joined the party in 1990s says ''all terrorist groups affiliated to Turkey are active in Europe under many names such as Grey Wolves that assassinate people in the whole of Europe and it is not dubbed as a terrorist one while the PKK that defends land, people, children and dignity is dubbed as terrorist''.

Khalil called on the international community and the human rights associations to remove the party from the black list, '' we, in Rojava, are fighting and we will do that until the party is delisted, we support all campaigns that call for that''.
