With attendance of 100 participants of the representatives of the health institutions and ANNES in order to evaluate the health situation, the events of the annual meeting have been launched in Jazira region.

the co-chair of TEV_DEM, Zelal Jakar delivered a speech in which she evaluated the situation of NE, Syria on political level, as well as the role of health staff in the revolution in NE, Syria.

At the outset, she congratulated the meeting on all those present: "Within a few days, we will say goodbye to 2021 and receive a new year, so we must assess our work through these meetings and discuss our shortcomings so that we can avoid them in the new year."

She went on to say "What distinguishes our revolution in the north and east of Syria from the rest of the revolutions is that our revolution was based on our freedom first and the creation of a stable order through Autonomous Administration, which has been able to prove itself and its people to be a democratic project and work to democratize society and unify components, which is the secret of our victory so far."

The co-chair of the Health Body of North and East Syria, Joan Mustafa, delivered a statement in which he referred to the commando spirit shown by health workers in confronting the COVID 19 and its new mutant, despite the simple possibilities and the blockade imposed on NE,Syria.

Mustafa also touched upon the achievements made by the Health Body over the course of a year, especially in Jazira region, and said: "The Autonomous Administration was able to achieve many achievements and was able to meet the region's medical needs, including performing open-heart surgeries, In addition to the opening of the first dialysis center of Kidney in Qamishlo city.
