 The Emirates News Agency, WAM, reported that during the meeting, which was held in Dubai, the two sides discussed developments in the situation in Syria and ways to enhance international efforts to resolve the Syrian crisis, in a way that contributes to consolidating the pillars of security and stability in the country, expressing their welcome to the UN envoy.

 The Minister of Foreign Affairs renewed the UAE's support for all efforts made to consolidate security and stability in sisterly Syria and meet the aspirations of its people for development and prosperity, according to "WAM".

 Last Tuesday, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan visited Damascus on a visit to Syria, the first for an Emirati official of this level in more than 10 years.
