PYD holds Southern Kurdistan authorities accountable for members abduction

Democratic Union Party, the PYD, held today a press conference in it's office in the city of Qamishlo, in which it held authorities of Southern Kurdistan accountable for the abduction of the Rojava politicians at the Erbil International Airport.

A statement was read by Anwar Muslim Co-0chair of PYD, attended by Sama Baghdash the party's spokesperson and co-chair of the Relations Office of the party Rohat Mela Khalil.

''At a time when unity is urged and stance unified and moral responsibility ought to be shouldered towards our people and to refrain from discord and to avert rifts Turkey is eager to create between Kurds, authorities in Hewler arrested on June 10 members and representatives of Democratic Union Part, the PYD, Jihad Hesen, Mustafa Othman Aziz and Mustafa Aziz Miste in Kurdistan Region as they were heading to the Hewler Airport to receive some western delegates to PYD, since then we have addressed brotherly and friendly the authorities in the Region to verify the fate of our fellows and the reasons behind their arrests contrary to diplomatic norms with no avail.

We hold authorities in the Region the whole responsibility for any danger posed to our fellows and to their safety and in continuation to our demand to verify our party's representatives in Kurdistan Region we renew today in front of the public opinion our call to verify their fate and set them free immediately.

We note that leaks on their fates are being scrutinized precisely by us amid information signify that they may have been referred to bodies imply animosity to every Kurd. We also consider the arrest and the unknown fate of our fellows a direct target of our party and the gains made and bids sought to unify all Kurdish parties.

Hewler actions if precisely viewed they only discharge into facilitating attempts made by the Turkish state and the usurping regimes of our cause to meet their aims''.

On 10 June forces of the Kurdistan Democratic Party abducted Jihad Hisein representative of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria and Mustafa Khlaeel and Mustafa Aziz members of Relations Office of the Union Democratic Party as they were heading to the Erbil International Airport to receive guests. And up to date nothing is known on their fates.
