Manbij Administration: International community should stop Turkish crimes

Co-chair of the Legislative Council of Manbij, Mohammad Ali Al-Abo stressed that "violations by Turkey have been ongoing since the liberation of Manbij and its countryside from ISIS terrorism organization to the present," and called on the international community to shoulder its responsibilities and to break silence and to stop Turkey from violating it in the region.

The Turkish Occupying State and its mercenaries have recently stepped up their bombing on Manbij villages adjacent to the front lines with the Turkish occupation areas, causing damage to civilians' properties living in the area and posing direct dangers to their lives.

The forces of the Manbij Military Council stationed on the frontline with the Turkish occupation use their right to legitimate self-defence, address repeated infiltration and respond to the sources of the shelling from Turkish bases.

On this subject, Co- chair of the Legislative Council of the Democratic Civil Administration in Manbij city, Mohammad Ali Al-Abo said in a special statement held by ANHA that " areas are targeted almost on daily bases by the Turkish occupation forces and its mercenaries are populated villages."

Mohammed Al-Abo added "Manbij city has always been in a state of anxiety and tension as a result of continued violations on the area by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries aimed at displacing its indigenous people and achieving its objectives in the region."

"During the two last days, Turkey intensified its attacks on the area, everyone had left the village for fear of death."

Co-chair of the Legislative Council of the Democratic Civil Administration in Manbij City stressed that security, stability and civil peace prevail Manbij, but recently, foreign agendas interfered to hit the stability in the region, but thanks to the awareness of the people, they failed and did not achieve their goals.

Addressing his speech to the international community, saying, "We, are the civil administration in Manbij and its countryside, we reject these flagrant and barbaric attacks by Turkey against our people and our regions. We call upon the international community at all levels to shoulder its humanitarian and moral responsibilities to prevent the violations of the Turkish Occupying State and its mercenaries and to put an end of these violations against the people of the region."
