Video footage showing damage caused by Turkish bombing on Tal Abyad

The countryside of the western city of Tel-Abyad has witnessed a violent escalation over the last week by the Turkish occupation, in which the populated village were subjected to heavy shelling, causing unthinkable devastation to civilians' properties, while photographs and scenes taken by ANHA show traces of destruction in some of these villages.

After about two months of relative calm that prevailed all fronts of Girê Spî/ Tal Abyad Canton, the western countryside of the city of Girê Spî, especially the villages of “Araidah, Birketik, Koberlek, Bir Zinar, Qazali Silos, Qazali village, Laklako, Zenobia, Frayan, Sawan, Khirbet al-Baqar, and Kijgran Salibi, Korek, Afdko, the M4 international road and some villages from the countryside of Ain Issa District", in the last week, were all subject to heavy shelling.

Turkish Occupying State and its mercenaries shelled the populated villages with mortars and tanks, causing material damage to civilians' properties by destroying homes, burning crops and olive trees, as well as injuring a number of civilians as a result of the bombing.

ANHA monitored some of the effects of the destruction of civilian property in the western countryside of the city of Tel Abyad after a fierce week of continuous bombing.

Turkish Occupation is seeking to displace indigenous residents to occupy more of the Syrian territory.
