Ed-Dirbasiya people: We celebrate Newroz, Guerrilla victories in Garê this year

On March 21^st, the Kurdish people receive Newroz, so the people of ed-Dirbasiya district in al-Hasakah canton are preparing to celebrate Newroz this year which is coinciding with the Guerrilla fighters' victory in Garê area of ​​Başûr Kurdistan, affirming the continuation of the struggle and resistance against the Turkish occupation.

The citizen Zendan Hesso said: "Newroz in 2021 is very different. This year, the Turkish occupation was defeated, and the Guerrilla fighters triumphed in Garê Mountains."

Zendan blessed Newroz to the Kurdish people in particular and the peoples of the region in general, and wished achieving more victories. She said: "We pledge our Guerrilla fighters that we will continue to support them until the liberation of all Kurdistan lands from the Turkish occupation."

The citizen Razia Mahmoud said: "Since years, the attacks of the Turkish occupation have been continuing against the Kurdish people, and we are witnessing today its attacks on the areas of north-east Syria and its committing massacres against their peoples."

Razia spoke about the victory of the Guerrilla fighters in Garê Mountains, saying: "Although Turkey uses the latest types of weapons, every time it is defeated in front of the Guerrilla fighters in Kurdistan Mountains. Turkey is trying to wipe out the existence of the Kurdish people, and it also fails to do so because the Kurdish people defending their rights fight and struggle with strong will and determination. The victory of Guerrilla in Garê is a historic victory for the Kurdish people."

In his turn, Jan Dirbasiya blessed the Kurdish people and the Guerrilla fighters on Newroz, and he said: "The fire of Newroz is the victory for the Kurdish people. The history of the Kurdish people is full of victories, and we will continue to resist until our goals are achieved."
