Ilham Ahmed: we will struggle to liberate all occupied areas

After the torch of Newroz was lit by the families of the martyrs, the head of the Executive Committee of the Syrian Democratic Council, Ilham Ahmed, delivered speech in which Newroz blessed the peoples of the region, the detainees in prisons and the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and said: “We are gathering today in Freedom Square in order to achieve freedom, and since ancient times, we are lighting the torch of Newroz, despite all attempts at suppression. "

Ilham added, "Day after day, we continue the path of freedom, and in the Rojava Revolution, Kurdistan is not the only Kurdish people in the battlefields, but all the peoples of the region."

And she continued: "Honorable brothers from the various components of the Syrian society and northeastern Syria, we congratulate Newroz this year, and we hope that a political solution will be achieved and democracy will be achieved in Newroz next year. This is what we seek continuously through the sacrifices we have made together in the squares in the face of terrorism and tyranny." We are still fighting for freedom, and we hope for security and stability. "

Ilham Ahmed called on all peoples of the region to join hands to develop the Autonomous Administration, and said: "With the administration, we will achieve more democracy, and we meet today in all cities of northern and eastern Syria, the capital, Damascus, and in al-Shahba and Aleppo."

And she continued: "We will fight for the liberation of all occupied areas, and ensure the safe return of our people to their homes, and we will not accept the Turkish presence in our land, and we will not accept tyranny and injustice at the will of our people. We see daily crimes committed by mercenaries against our peaceful people, so we pledge to you and pledge to our people from the residents who have been forcibly displaced, those who are suffering from injustice that we are continuing and we will liberate all the areas."

At the end of her speech, Ilham Ahmed said: "The resistance of women is one of the most prominent achievements that have been achieved in the women's revolution, and it must develop itself on all levels."
