PYD: In the spirit of Newroz, we are going to the victory

On Saturday, PYD issued a statement to public opinion, that the torch of Kawa al-Haddad that killed al-Dahhak tyranny is still burning in the souls of the Kurds, who have taken upon themselves the responsibility of all the people of Syria to bring them to safety.

The text of the statement read:

The history of the peoples is full with sacred things, is written by the peoples' will, Eid Newroz " New day" is the most sacred, on which illuminate the torch of its path, where the Kurds Medes and all the peoples of Mesopotamia to choose freedom, peace and emancipation from oppression, and here we are today with the same spirit Kurdish, which brought together the Medes with all components and peoples of Mesopotamia, we unite with all components of northern and eastern Syria in Newroz “K 2633” (Kurdish New Year) and coincidentally “2021 AD” to tell the whole world that the philosophy of the democratic nation and our passion for freedom gave birth to the brotherhood of peoples, and the components of NE, Syria / Rojava is able to shape its destiny and coexist together to reach a new, democratic and decentralization Syria, and for the model of Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria to be the first nucleus of the democratization of Syria.

We, in the Democratic Union Party (PYD), extend our congratulations to our Kurdish people, the peoples of the region, the families of the martyrs, and all humanity, with the advent of Newroz, pledging our people to go with all our strength and in the spirit of the fire of Newroz towards victory and the liberation of Afrin, Ras-al-Ain, and Tal Abyed, and on this blessed occasion we appreciate and value the resistance of our forcibly displaced people in al-Shahba They are a few kilometers from their lands, villages and olives, adhering to the option of returning and liberating the city of peace, Afrin.

The torch of Kawa that killed al-Dahhak tyranny is still burning in the souls of the Kurds, who have taken upon themselves the responsibility of all the people of Syria to bring them to safety and stop the bloodshed caused by the mentality of power and tyranny, and in which international and regional agendas have been exploited, on top of which is the Turkish occupation, and our party is the Martyrs Party as it pledges to the Kurdish people and all the components of NE, Syria to struggle to achieve their aspirations and hopes in a free and democratic Syria, and it should not forget at the same time that this determination is based on the legacy of thousands of martyrs who sacrificed their lives so that our people could live in dignity, freedom and peace. Then came the democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, in which the Kurds live. And all the components of the region are fraternal, as a blessing fruit of these sacrifices. Blessed are our forces from the People's Protection Units (YPG), the Women Protection Units (YPJ), the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the Asayish forces who protect the region with all its components, and blessings are on them, "Newroz."
